Powder Point Day Use Area offers access by canoe to the east arm of Prelude Lake and thence to Hidden Lake the Cameron Falls Trail is a pleasant short hike through the forest to Cameron Falls. On a sunny day, this lake appears aquamarine in colour, and you can spot the fish swimming in its crystal clear water. Hidden Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the area to the east of Yellowknife.

Two day use areas, (Powder Point and Cameron Falls), provide access to the Park from the Ingraham Trail the closest access point from Yellowknife is at Powder Point, some 45 km along the trail.
